Our Annual Youth Awards celebrate the achievements of young people, those of the amazing people from the voluntary sector that work with them and the generosity and support provided by the wider community that enables those achievements.

Our most recent awards ceremony recognised the hard work of young people taking part in our me2 programme and the youth clubs that successfully achieved the Young Kent Quality Mark (AQYP) - a rigorous assessment that looks at both policy and practise to ensure that the work of the club operates at the highest possible standard and offers the best quality opportunities for young people attending.

Our president, Peregrine Massey presented certificates to fifty-one me2 Peer Mentors for their support of young people with disabilities and additional needs from across Kent & Medway. Their work as mentors enabled those they supported to access and integrate into mainstream youth provision, many for the first time.

We also presented Challock Youth Club and Crossroads Young Carers Project with their Bronze AQYP award.

Our next Youth Awards ceremony is planned to take place in October 2015 - please check this page for further details.
